Earbuds in listening to ” Stand by you”, by Rachel Platten. As an author The lyrics are significant to me. Personally speaking, having struggled through various challenges in life, longing for love, acceptance and approval from some friends and family, as many of you also may have experienced with having epilepsy or other diagnoses, you may even have struggled through a lack of emotional support from family. Yes as many of you can connect with and have also experienced. I have lived through my fare share of mistakes, trials and tribulations but that is what has made me the strong woman I am today who has a passion to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves and struggle with fear and anxiety of having the diagnosis of epilepsy. I want you to know that I am personally so grateful to those who read my daily blog, You have become my extended family and are so very special to my heart. Remember, believe in yourself and go as far as you can, do not let anyone stop you from achieving your dreams or goals that you may strive for.
