“Living with Epilepsy.” “Let’s talk about it.”

Good morning my friends both near and far!

Earbuds in listening to “Happy People” by Little Big Town.  Each and every one of us should live by the lyrics to this song.  If you are curious, take a listen and please download “Happy People” to your playlist, you won’t be sorry.  In life we meet so many people for various reasons that may not be known at that exact moment. I can attest to the belief that there is a reason for each and every encounter/meeting. All connections no matter how long or short is meant for a reason. To call someone “friend” is such an honor.  My grandmother told me as a teenager “Maria, you only need one good friend in life to be happy.” My teen years were challenging after my diagnosis with Epilepsy. My grandmother’s advice helped me daily during my high school years, when struggling with approval of “friends” or the fear of being “judged” by my peers.  Today, I know she would be so excited about my Epilepsy advocacy and my passion for helping so many with my writing and speaking for those who cannot. I am so grateful to each and every one of you for following my blog.

Remember… Epilepsy… let’s talk about it!!

Keep Smiling!
